Why this role is important?

Nature and Scope:

Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analytical support and reporting for Pharmacy projects and day-to-day activities and driving operating leverage and supporting data driven decision making. This position is reporting to Director, Operational Intelligence and System Development.

What you will do:

· Develop, maintain and distribute reports to internal stakeholders and the field periodically to support day to day operations of Pharmacy projects at all sites

· Develop exception reports to determine potential stop gaps and issues to support day to day operations in all Pharmacy projects sites

· Develop dashboards for daily, weekly, and period end KPI reporting packages using Power BI as the distribution mechanism

· Develop and adhere to the end-to-end Pharmacy project process that includes reporting by each program, program performance, analysis of pain points and growth opportunities

· Liaise with Accounting, IT, and other relevant departments to streamline procedures at the Pharmacy project level

· Enhance planning process including CYP, MYP, monthly re-forecasting of the Pharmacy project programs, and other metrics as required

· Monitor and maximize each of the site’s portfolio

· Provide analytical support for all sites using vendor data, MicroStrategy and/or Teradata

· Maintain and support the Labour Planning tool processes and metrics, Capacity Planning tool processes and metrics, and Period End processes (MBR)

What you will need:

· University degree with focus on Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering and/or Finance

· Business acumen and superior knowledge of Retail pharmacy operations, Inventory Management and CPAK/Central Vial operations

· Ability to develop and manage exception reports from multiple data sources

· Ability to communicate effectively leveraging data, statistics, market research, scientific studies, and other relevant information to influence individuals from a variety of educational backgrounds, seniority, and experience

· Excellent analytical skills: ability to rapidly assess relevance, accuracy, and statistical significance

· Experience in creating and defending business cases for large, complex multi-year projects

· Experience managing sensitive programs in highly regulated environments

· Strong MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI, Power Apps, Citrix Server Applications, VBA, Python, MicroStrategy and Teradata

· Demonstrated problem solving skills

· Demonstrated ability to drive to clear action and ownership

· Exceptional project and time management skills

· Understanding of pharmaceutical/health care industry a strong asset

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
