Specialty Health Network (SHN) by Shoppers supports our retail stores to provide the best patient care to patients who require specialty drugs. We provide patient support programs (PSPs) for specialty drug therapies, providing physicians with resources to manage their patients, facilitating reimbursement, and enhancing patient compliance. We deliver superior customer service to patients, healthcare providers and pharmaceutical manufacturers to improve healthcare outcomes for all stakeholders.

We are hiring a Senior Specialist, Specialty Retail Projects

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Specialty Retail Projects, you will be responsible for leading specialty projects and initiatives that drive the operational success of PSPs at retail pharmacies. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams in the organization to provide support on retail-oriented patient support program launches.

What You'll Do:

• Lead specialty projects and support the development of pharmacy workflow and metrics for retail-focused PSPs.
• Works cross-functionally with various departments within the enterprise to develop new processes and tools for servicing specialty patients in the retail network
• Provide support for Patient Support Program launches
• Execute Specialty communications to the retail network, including management of SHN reference documents
• Be the subject matter expert for SHN programs

What You'll Need:

• Minimum of two years of combined experience in pharmacy, pharma or healthcare
• Excellent knowledge of retail pharmacy processes and pharmacy management software is considered a strong asset
• Tech-forward thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills
• Strong professional presence and presentation skills, including facilitation of meetings where excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills is a must
• Flexible and adaptable to changes of responsibility reflective of the business needs
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional team environment
• Basic knowledge of specialty reimbursement landscape is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
