Overview

Shift4 is expanding globally and seeking a key Salesforce DevOps Engineer. This role is crucial to build and manage our CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless and efficient Salesforce deployments. The Salesforce DevOps Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the release management lifecycle, focusing on the CI/CD pipeline, and utilizing tools like GitLab and Gearset. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce deployment processes, a deep understanding of version control systems, and a solid background in automating release processes.

This role is hybrid / onsite based at any of the following Shift4 locations: Las Vegas, NV / Center Valley, PA / Tampa, FL / Atlanta, GA or Morrisville, NC. Relocation assistance may be available for this role.



Responsibilities:


  • Plan, coordinate, and manage deployments between code repository & Salesforce environments.
  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using Gearset and GitLab.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth release processes.
  • Build consolidated release logs and communicate out to stakeholders.
  • Set up and maintain development, testing, and staging Salesforce environments.



Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in enterprise level release management with a focus on Salesforce.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitLab and Gearset, branching and merging strategies & resolving conflicts.
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce.
  • Strong background in Salesforce administration and deployment processes.
