Job Summary:
The Web Manager oversees the strategic evolution and operational excellence of Semtech's corporate web properties, playing a critical role in executing the company's three-year marketing transformation plan. Currently in the foundation and planning phase (FY26 Q4), this role is supporting strategic planning efforts, leading marketing technology platform evaluation, and preparing operational foundations for major Year 1 execution of Semtech’s 3-year marketing plan starting February 2026. In partnership with marketing leadership, this role will develop the strategic thinking and technical expertise needed to execute complex digital experience initiatives in FY27 and beyond.
Responsibilities:
1. Website Strategy, Operations & Administration (20%)
- Partner with marketing leadership to develop and execute strategic roadmap for web platform evolution aligned with marketing objectives and 3-year plan
- Lead ongoing development and enhancement of Semtech's web properties, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and segment-specific requirements
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams to implement website updates, new features, and marketing technology integrations
- Manage website hosting, domain registration, security, and performance optimization
- Conduct regular audits to identify technical issues, broken links, and optimization opportunities
2. Content Management & Marketing Technology Integration (30%)
- Manage and update web content via CMS across all properties, including product information, landing pages, and multimedia assets
- Partner with Demand Generation to integrate website with account-based marketing and web/content personalization platforms (Year 1 priority)
- Implement lead capture, tracking, and basic personalization capabilities aligned with segment strategy
- Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant information and improve SEO performance
- Advise on search engine optimization (SEO) best practices to improve visibility and drive organic traffic
- Begin building vertical-specific landing page frameworks in collaboration with Product Marketing
3. User Experience & Segment Optimization (25%)
- Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and engagement metrics to identify improvement opportunities and increase conversion rates
- Partner with marketing leadership to design and implement differentiated user experiences for enterprise, mid-market, and mass market audiences (progressive implementation)
- Conduct A/B testing and usability studies to evaluate website performance and inform optimization efforts
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to create vertical market web experiences and templates
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in web design, UX/UI, personalization, and digital marketing
- Continuously build expertise in segment-specific optimization strategies and user journey design
4. Analytics, Attribution & Reporting (25%)
- Utilize web analytics tools (Google Analytics 4) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor website traffic by segment
- Work with Demand Generation and Revenue Operations to enhance web analytics to CRM (Salesforce) for pipeline reporting
- Develop dashboards showing web contribution to marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) and influenced pipeline by segment and campaign
- Prepare regular reports and presentations communicating website performance, trends, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and senior management
- Track and report on segment-specific conversion rates and user journey performance
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, IT, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive website management experience, preferably in B2B technology or semiconductor industries
- Proven track record managing and optimizing corporate websites using enterprise CMS platforms (WordPress, ExpressionEngine, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar)
- Strong technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development best practices
- Experience with or strong aptitude for learning marketing technology platforms (marketing automation, CRM integration, personalization tools)
- Understanding of SEO best practices and web analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4)
- Demonstrated ability or strong interest in developing segment-specific digital experiences
- Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
