Senior Business and Data Analyst

NOTE- This is a remote role that will require working during night shift hours.
1. Business Analysis and Strategy: 60%
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
Design and analyze business processes and recommend improvements to optimize operational performance.
Identify deficiencies in business/data processes, data quality, usability or accuracy.
Perform impact analysis and “what if” assessments for systems enhancements.
Collaborate with Salesforce developers to define and implement customizations, workflows, and automation within Salesforce.
Document all system-related processes and flows.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data solutions.
Present data visualizations that effectively communicate key insights and trends to stakeholders.
Collaborate with leadership to understand strategic objectives and align data analytics initiatives accordingly.
2. Project Management: 10%
Utilize Jira/Aha to manage tasks, track project progress, and prioritize deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of data projects.
Lead data-focused workshops, meetings, and presentations to drive alignment across teams.
3. Data Governance and Quality Assurance: 25%
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
Develop and enforce data governance policies and best practices.
Designing processes and proactively addressing data quality issues and improving reporting reliability.
Coordinates and conducts User Acceptance Testing.
4. Continuous Improvement and Innovation: 5%
Stay at the forefront of industry trends, technologies, and advancements in data analytics.
Propose and implement innovative solutions, methodologies, and tools to enhance the organization's data capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business and data analysis.
Proficient in using Power BI and Qlik.
Extensive expertise in Excel and other data analysis tools for processing and analyzing large datasets.
Skilled in using JIRA and AHA for managing workflows and projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
Proven experience with Salesforce, including hands-on expertise in utilizing its features for customer support functions.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS and SAP).
Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
