Job Summary:

The Staff Lifecycle ATE Test Engineer is responsible for supporting the production ATE Test solution for high performance mixed-signal integrated circuits. The job requires the Test Engineer to drive for short and long-term Cost Reduction via Test Time Optimization and Yield Improvement without Compromising Production Quality for multiple projects in parallel, supporting RMA verification and debug, and handling production test issues.

Responsibilities:
• Sustain the test program of mature products and ensure its successful release into the production line
• Lead the coordination for engineering activities with the functional team and subcontractor
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action on production issues, manage the manufacturing, engineering and quality issues on the production line, Identify and fix manufacturing problems
• Identify process, material and test program issues
• Support Test Solution Improvement for Cost Reduction, and Yield Improvement
• Support Tester or Handler platforms migration to attain low test cost and address test setup capacity constraints
• Provide best-in-class test program and product quality
• Provide remote debug and technical support to offshore factory sites to resolve any Test Solution Related Issue
• Integrate test instruments or test screen from bench setup into test program.
• Work with the subcontractors to implement framework and methodologies for continuous process improvement

Minimum Qualifications:
• BSEE or related Engineering Degree
• 5+ years minimum experience in ATE Test and engineering-to-production transitions for High Speed Mixed Signal products (Experience with both Packaged test and Wafer Probe is preferred)
• Experience with Advantest-93K
• Experience programming electronic instrumentation to perform measurements and collect data
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, including written and verbal English proficiency
• Understanding of high-speed PCB design concepts and experience in schematic capture;
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team and build relationships with peers in other disciplines;
• Capable of working to aggressive project timelines
• Software experience in C, C++, Python

Desired Qualifications

• Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively across global functional teams and subcontractors
• 8 years minimum experience in ate test and engineering-to-production transitions for high speed mixed signal products (experience with both packaged test and wafer probe is preferred)
• Experience with ate test solution development both on hw design and test program development
• Experience with test data, yield, and bin pareto analysis
• Extra software skills such as c#, python etc. for tooling development
• Proactive and active personality and able to work independently when facing a problem
• Ability to work with common test equipment (oscilloscope, power supply, etc) is a requirement
• Must be able to instinctively use scientific methods to quickly troubleshoot complex multi-dimensional problems.
