Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Data Science/Applied AI Intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic technology environment, collaborate with our global software team, and develop essential skills in machine learning, predictive science, and AI application development. This is a 12-week remote internship.

Essential Functions:

• Data analysis and machine learning utilizing Python, SQL, and associated development tools.
• Programming and prompting support to enable development of agentic AI solutions
• Discovery and documentation of data models
• Support for statistical analysis of real-time location services (RTLS) datasets
• Research and communication about emerging topics and techniques in applied AI and predictive analytics
• Support of data lake pipelines and devops in Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in a 2–4-year university program/degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a related STEM discipline
• Overall GPA of 2.5 or above

Duration and Compensation:

• 12-week paid internship
• Pay range: $16 to $20 per hour (35-40 hours a week)
