Position Summary:

The Senior Software Engineer is a senior technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based healthcare software solutions. This role provides expertise in C#/.NET development, multi-tenant SaaS architecture, RTLS technologies, and healthcare integrations. The Senior Software Engineer is expected to lead complex technical initiatives, own critical systems and services, mentor less experienced engineers, and contribute to the scalability, reliability, and long-term success of the platform.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications using C# and .NET technologies.
  • Design and enhance scalable, secure, multi-tenant SaaS solutions in cloud environments.
  • Develop and support integrations with RTLS platforms, IoT devices, healthcare systems, and third-party applications.
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex software features and technical initiatives.
  • Participate in system architecture, technical design, and performance optimization efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical, integration, and production issues.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Customer Success teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Promote engineering best practices related to quality, security, scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to software architecture, development processes, and platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in C#/.NET development.
  • Experience designing and supporting cloud-hosted, multi-tenant SaaS applications.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
  • 5+ years of experience with RTLS, IoT, or real-time telemetry systems.
  • Experience with healthcare technology solutions and integrations.
  • Experience with modern web application frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
  • Experience leading complex technical initiatives and working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

To Excel:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with mobile software development
  • Strong ownership and accountability for technical outcomes.
  • The ability to balance architectural thinking with practical implementation.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; stoop or kneel; crouch or crawl; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; for extended periods of time. May have to climb ladders or flights of stairs or crawl around in tight spaces. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Office environment; or remote environment, frequent exposure to computer screens.
