Job Description
We’re looking for a motivated eCommerce Program Manager to join our eCommerce team. The eCommerce Program Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of eCommerce initiatives across the organization. This role works closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure eCommerce work is clearly defined, execution-ready, and delivered in a coordinated way. This individual is an experienced eCommerce professional who applies practical program and project coordination skills to support eCommerce launches, enhancements, and campaigns.
This is a full-time position, working in a hybrid model, and reporting to our Ottawa office at least 3-4 days a week.
The target compensation package for this role is between CAD 110,000 and CAD 140,000, subject upon internal equity and years of experience. We may make further adjustments through an approval process if the targeted compensation range needs to be modified based on business needs and market trends.
Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role:
- Coordinate and track eCommerce initiatives and campaigns across cross-functional teams.
- Partners closely with eCommerce Engineering, Product Management, Marketing and Growth, Sales and Customer Operations, Finance and Revenue Operations, etc. for coordination and dependency alignments.
- Translate business and operational needs into clear functional requirements and user stories for eCommerce engineering teams, including validating customer flows and supporting configuration-level changes within eCommerce platforms as required.
- Support planning, sequencing, and dependency management across related eCommerce initiatives.
- Track execution progress, risks, and issues; escalate appropriately.
- Maintain visibility into eCommerce operational performance through dashboards and reporting.
- Ensure initiatives are delivered with appropriate readiness, documentation, and stakeholder alignment.
- Additional tasks associated with this position may be assigned in response to company initiatives and business needs.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is strongly recommended.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience working in eCommerce environments is required.
- Direct experience with eCommerce platforms supporting product catalogs, checkout and purchase flows, and subscription-based or renewal-driven lifecycle models is required.
- Practical experience working directly in eCommerce platforms, including basic HTML/JavaScript familiarity to inspect and validate customer flows and performing configuration-level changes using administrative interfaces.
- Experience with specific eCommerce platforms or vendors (e.g., Stripe, Maxio, Salesforce, WHMCS).
- Familiarity with common eCommerce tooling like Goggle Analytics, UserPilot , HubSpot, and Craft CMS.
