The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a client-centric and detail-oriented Commercial Account Manager to support an established and diverse book of commercial business. You’ll work closely with our Senior Account Executives and clients, many of whom are long-term, multi-line partners. Your ability to build relationships, stay organized, and confidently advise clients on their coverage needs will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver proactive, expert service and support to a portfolio of established commercial clients
· Review policy renewals thoroughly, ensuring appropriate coverage and identifying potential gaps
· Provide professional guidance on risk management and coverage enhancements
· Manage the placement and marketing of new and renewal business
· Support clients through the claims process, including reporting and follow-ups with adjusters
· Identify cross-sell opportunities to broaden coverage and enhance protection
· Foster strong, professional relationships with underwriters and insurance partners
· Keep accurate records and ensure compliance within our Broker Management System
What You Bring:
· Active RIBO license
· Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance experience
· Experience with Applied EPIC is preferred; familiarity with Policy Works is considered an asset.
· Designations such as CAIB, CRM, or CIP are considered strong assets
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· High attention to detail and confidence managing complex accounts
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
· Strong negotiation and market placement skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
