As a member of the Investment Platform team, The Business Solutions Expert is a senior individual contributor responsible for owning end‑to‑end business solutioning for complex initiatives within the Investment Platform ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, platform capabilities, regulatory requirements, and technology delivery, ensuring solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with IP’s long‑term roadmap.
The incumbent will work closely with business partners, architects, delivery leads, vendors, and development teams to translate business needs into well‑defined, well‑governed solution approaches, while proactively identifying risks, impacts, and dependencies across the IP landscape.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Act as a trusted solution partner to business stakeholders, providing expert guidance on IP capabilities, constraints, and solution options
- Lead solution discovery and definition for complex initiatives impacting core IP systems, integrations, and vendor platforms (e.g., RPM)
- Own the end‑to‑end solution design, ensuring alignment across business requirements, architecture standards, regulatory obligations, and operational readiness
- Partner with Solution Architects and Delivery Leads to validate technical feasibility, sequencing, and implementation approach
- Identify and document impacts, risks, trade‑offs, and dependencies across journeys, products, and downstream systems
- Ensure solution approaches are clearly articulated to senior technology and business leadership to support informed decision‑making
- Support release planning and delivery by providing solution clarity during estimation, planning, and execution phases
- Maintain strong domain knowledge of investment products, journeys, back‑office processing, and regulatory requirements within IP
- Champion a customer‑focused, risk‑aware culture, ensuring solutions protect the Bank and its clients
- Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of the business strategies and policies product offerings, financial markets, regulatory requirements, and rapidly changing technology to be able to provide effective business solutions and services to the end user groups

- 7+ years of experience in Business Solutions, Business Architecture, or Senior Business Analysis within large, complex technology environments
- Strong domain knowledge of Investment Platforms, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets systems
- Proven experience solutioning complex initiatives that span multiple systems and business areas
- Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence solution decisions
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end investment journeys, including front‑office, middle‑office, and back‑office flows
- Experience working with vendor platforms and understanding customization vs. configuration trade‑offs
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills
- Proven experience working within a core Investment Platform (IP) supporting retail investment products and client journeys
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end investment processing flows, including front‑office, middle‑office, and back‑office operations (e.g., order capture, trade processing, settlements, reconciliation, reporting)
- Practical knowledge of vendor‑based investment platforms and the implications of configuration vs. customization, including impact analysis, risk assessment, and long‑term platform sustainability.
- Familiarity with investment products and account types, including regulatory and operational considerations that influence platform behavior
- Demonstrated ability to assess cross‑journey and cross‑product impacts when defining solution approaches
- Experience supporting industry‑driven and regulatory initiatives affecting the Investment Platform, with a strong appreciation for risk, controls, and compliance expectations
- Strong understanding of release‑based delivery models and how solution decisions influence estimation, sequencing, and execution within IP programs

- Experience within Investment Platform / Broadridge suite of applications
- Exposure to regulatory or industry‑driven initiatives
- Background working closely with architecture and engineering teams
- Prior experience in Global Wealth Management Technology environments
