The Senior Manager, Technology Productivity is a key role within the Technology Operations team, driving large-scale initiatives that enhance cost efficiency, operational performance, and strategic innovation. This role serves as a trusted partner to business leaders and key stakeholders across Technology and the bank, identifying and implementing opportunities for operational excellence. The Senior Manager is responsible for ensuring that initiatives are strategically aligned with Technology priorities to support a culture of continuous improvement delivering measurable impact.

Lead and deliver large-scale transformational initiatives focused on cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

Partner with business leaders and functions to identify opportunities and translate them into actionable initiatives.

Provide consultancy and guidance to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Perform end-to-end evaluations of processes, technology, and organizational aspects to identify improvement opportunities.

Develop recommendations and implement sustainable solutions.

Monitor and report on project status, risks, benefits, and financial performance.

Influence and motivate stakeholders across all levels to adopt and implement transformation strategies.

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Strong knowledge of financial accounting and generally accepted accounting principles

Advance knowledge of business related computer software specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Highly detailed-oriented, with the ability to work under own initiative

Accounting related experience and advanced analytical skills

Broad knowledge of Bank's asset management products and services

University undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or other related field;

Minimum 5 years in accounting / analysis function;

Attainment or working toward a professional accounting designation (CPA)
