Process Technician

Process Technician Job Purpose: To provide injection molding processing expertise for a range of product and materials.

Nature of Duties:

•  Performs technical tests and experiments for process of R&D engineering.
•  Will act as an advocate of disciplined plastics approaches using (ie. Robust Mold Trials, Systematic Molding Techniques, Standard Work Flow)
•  Provide troubleshooting expertise and resolve Injection Molding problems using strong systematic trouble shooting techniques.
•  Develop technical problem solving skills among set up technicians. Provide key inputs and leadership into transformational process development
•  Performs set-up of equipment.
•  Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators.
•  Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results through masking and diffusion for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
•  Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.

Education and Experience:

 High School Diploma

 Minimum 5 years related experience
