Duties of Position: (Include specific duties and responsibilities)
Summary -
Responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion by interacting with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. To coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. Involve in developing detailed project plans/schedule, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.
Creation of project management plan - Clearly understands the customer requirements and creates a project management plan taking into careful consideration of the estimates, work-plans and all project management related deliverables. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Monitoring and tracking projects - Monitors and tracks Cost, time sheet, team's implementation methodologies, technical reviews and internal project processes and suggests corrective actions where required. Familiar in Purchase Order, Invoice Booking, Shipments, Material purchases etc Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Project and technical risk management - Ensures that continuous defect analysis is being carried out and works towards risk management. Also reviews the defect correction actions which are being implemented. Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Project/ Product delivery - Works with team to ensure timely release of product/ project deliverables.
Management/ Client status report - Sends periodic status reports/ other reports as may be called for by the client or by the manager/ seniors. To Seek & Achieve high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) on regular basis.
Project Management Operations – Experience in purchase and Logistics operations management. Supplier identification and evaluation, shipments, INCOTERMS, Customs interactions etc
Quality Management and Contribution to process improvement – Experience in Quality Management System. Deliver high quality projects by adhering to the QMS with full Process compliance or within Org. limits. Contributes to organizational process improvements, identifies inefficient processes, if any. Delivery of all project management and technical documentations at each phase of the project.
Technical communication during project execution - Ensures that the team has clearly understood what is expected from the project and also makes sure that two-way communication is constantly provided with respect to the project deliverables.
Qualifications Required: (Education, experience, skills, etc. Please be specific)
Bachelors of Degree in Engineering, MBA is nice to have.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in electronic product development or design and engineering services industry, with at least 5 year of experience in project management and customer front ending role.
Experience in handling a projects of team between 15 -20 people.
Experience in managing a complete product development
Experience in managing the Medical Device Product Development
Familiarity with the different standards like ISO 13485, ISO 9001 etc
Should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. Also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.
Experience in handling project which involves team members from across the Globe
Familiarity in handling projects/product development which involves electrical, mechanical, firmware and Test Engineering Functions.
Familiarity in Timesheet, Risk, Change Request and Escalation Management.
Experience in Agile PLM and Configuration Management
Experience in Planview is beneficial
