Analyst I (Product Costing)
Job Responsibilities
1. Quarterly Cost Review:
• Coordinate quarterly internal cost review exercise by collaborating with Global Supply Management, Program Management, Materials, and Finance teams.
• Ensure the timely collection and validation of data from all stakeholders to maintain accurate product costing.
2. Variance Analysis & Forecasting:
• Develop detailed forecasts and track the plant's Purchase Price Variance (PPV), providing actionable insights into material cost fluctuations.
• Perform root cause analysis on cost variances, identify key drivers, and present findings and recommendations to management for corrective action.
3.Cost Management & Recovery:
• Actively monitor the plant's cost recovery programs to ensure all eligible expenses are accurately tracked, documented, and reclaimed.
• Partner with the Finance team to validate and reconcile cost recovery claims, maximizing financial returns for the facility.
• Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Materials, Program Product Costing, or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) and other MS Office applications.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP system (such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Strong data analysis and financial modeling capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
• A highly analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
