Knowledge:

• Knowledge and handling of PCs, Windows operating systems, software installation, updates
• Knowledge of troubleshooting SMT equipment (Screen Printer, Solder Paste Inspection, Pick and Place, Reflow Oven)
• Advanced knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, or related fields, as well as electrical and pneumatic control, PLCs
• Knowledge of advanced programming on SMT equipment using FUJI, Panasonic, MPM, DEK, BTU systems, routers, and automatic insertion
• Knowledge of advanced statistics for application in engineering analysis
• Knowledge of advanced calibrations on SMT equipment from brands such as FUJI, Panasonic, MPM, DEK, BTU Getech
• Leadership and supervision of personnel in charge of SMT equipment, routers, and automatic insertion.
• Knowledge of special hardware installations and dedicated software for equipment managed by the Equipment Engineering Department.
• Knowledge of Emotional Intelligence and Empowerment for personnel management.
• Advanced knowledge of NEXIM on the FUJI platform, software, debugging, and optimizations.
• Knowledge of the Min-Max system in application for Toolcribs, spare parts, and consumables control.

Responsibilities:

• You will work alongside Equipment Technicians and Equipment Engineers on optimizations, improvement projects, and corrective actions for assigned equipment processes.
• Assignments in methodologies to maintain SMT efficiency, yield, 5s, and min-max in Toolcrib.
• The Equipment Manager is responsible for tracking equipment failures and performing advanced calibrations based on schedules.
• You will maintain the 5s goal in your work area, including activity reports and assigned logs.
• Responsible for effective equipment scheduling under the Equipment Engineering Department and Toolcrib Daily.
• Responsible for coordinating the execution of preventive maintenance, R&R studies, CPK, and ST studies for equipment under the Equipment Engineering Department.
• Responsible for coordinating the execution of model changes for equipment under the Equipment Engineering Department.
• Responsible for generating Equipment Engineering Department Procedures, Documents, and Forms (Monthly Toolcrib)
• Will implement calibration systems and installations of hardware and software dedicated to equipment under the responsibility of the Equipment Engineering Department.
• Responsible for completing and executing evaluations of all staff, including technicians, engineers, and Equipment & Toolcrib supervisors.
• Responsible for NPI projects with activities assigned to the Equipment Engineering Department (Monthly Toolcrib)
• Control of consumables, chemicals, and inputs to maintain plant operations.
