Manage the human and technical resources of the plant's process engineering and equipment department in the most efficient manner to achieve absorption, efficiency, scrap, and other key indicators. Ensure a conducive work environment for achieving these objectives. Promptly resolve conflicts between the plant's various support areas to ensure compliance with key plant indicators.

Education:

• industrial engineering, communications and electronics or similar

Experience:

• 5 - 8 years

Knowledge:

• Experience in project management at the plant level
• Experience in manufacturing processes (SMT, PTH, wave soldering, selective soldering, conformal application, potting, capacity studies)
• Strong experience in strategy development and implementation

• Knowledge of NPI processes
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Knowledge of parts and chemical warehouse management
• Assertive communication with customers and machinery and equipment suppliers

Responsibilities:

• Follow-up on production and sales reports
• Follow-up on the production plan meeting to ensure absorption, yields, and scrap within the MFM target
• Weekly meeting to monitor operational results
• Daily monitoring of the engineering area expense budget
• Ensure the monitoring and application of standardized work methods
• Follow-up on quotes for potential clients or for engineering changes
• Operations meeting to review key operational indicators
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Guide and support engineering staff
• Engineering strategy meeting and monitoring of key plant indicators
