Final Assembler
Job Purpose:
Assemble electronic circuit boards per specifications and ensure quality is a priority.
Nature of Duties:
- Performs a wide variety of electronic or electromechanical assembly operations
- Demonstrates the ability to read, follow, and execute standardized assembly tasks using electronic work instructions
- Follows standard sequence of operations while conducting daily task including hand soldering, wiring, and component installation, harnessing and hardware assembly on circuit boards and other types of electronic assemblies
- This position is held to the highest standards in safety, ethics, quality, delivery, and productivity
- Excellent attention to detail
- Work typically includes interaction with development and manufacturing engineering personnel
- May perform rework and quality testing
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of related Experience
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination is necessary
- Work overtime as required on business needs
- Must be able to lift 25-30lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hand soldering experience, or the willingness to learn this skill.
