Manufacturing Supervisor - Photo

Job Purpose:

In a dynamic team-based manufacturing environment, the Photo Department Manufacturing Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing a group of production personnel. This individual is tasked with ensuring the attainment of daily production goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through employee training, and upholding stringent quality standards. Additional, the Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for managing level one preventative maintenance schedules, optimizing staffing levels and overtime control, promoting skill development through cross-training initiatives, and efficiently coordinating all external processing activities. This multifaceted position requires a combination of leadership, technical expertise, and dedication to driving operational excellence.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the hire process by providing insights on potential new employees
• Assigns and manages employees daily tasks and priorities, fostering employee development and accountability
• Works closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and provide technical assistance
• Creates a respectful and open atmosphere where employees feel comfortable communication and contributing
• Sets clear consistent group objectives aligned with company's strategic priorities and interacts with all levels of management
• Establishes clear team goals that align with the company’s broader objectives
• Actively seeks ways to enhance quality productivity, and efficiency
• Tracks performance indicators and identifies areas of improvement
• Coordinates the efficient expediting of materials and work in process with purchasing, production and engineering. Proactively identify areas of potential supply concerns, keeping in mind capacity constraints, shortages and communicates analysis/recommendations to all parties impacted
• Demonstrates strong decision-making skills in resolving production and material planning challenges

Education and Experience:

• BS/BA degree or relevant working experience in PWB manufacturing or related field is preferred, but relevant experience may be considered
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supervisor is preferred. Previous experience as a Lead will be considered as well.
• Ideal candidate must have strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
• A working knowledge of PCB Fabrication manufacturing process is a plus and highly desirable
• Will require extensive experience in the following areas: Soldermask Imaging, Developing, and P.E.P Machine
• Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities while interacting with departments is crucial

Salary Range : $70,000 - $85,000
