Duties, Responsibilities And Accountability:

  • P rovide s effective customer service by handling technical support enquiries and following documentation policies
  • Answer s technical inquiries , e nsures proper escalation procedures are followed and provide s pricing info rmation regarding Ross products, as required.
  • Will be an active member of the on-call rotation for emer gency services (24 hours a day) as well as the 12pm to 8pm rotation.
  • Expedites the return of service spares from the field. (RMAs)
  • Perform s other related duties as required.

Knowledge/Education/Training:

  • T echnical diploma in Computers, IT, Broadcast or Electrical fields
  • Additional education and computer courses are strong assets.
  • Must be fluent in the English language (read, write, speak).
  • Fluency in French, Spanish and/or Portuguese languages are also considered to be an asset

  • Well-organized, very detail oriented, and a ble to multi-task
  • Approachable and excellent communication skills
  • High initiative and well-developed analytical skills
  • Able to work in a reactive environment
  • Must be driven, resourceful, and motivated. ( a self-starter )
  • Must be able to work effectively with a team as well as independently

Experience:

  • Excellent trouble shooting and debugging skills
  • High level of customer service experience
  • Experience as a technical support specialist
  • K nowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • K nowledge of Sales Force or similar CRM system is an asset

Other:

  • Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle

Physical Demands:

  • Office Environment
  • Possible heaving lifting if moving equipment

Work Environment

  • Office, Moderate Noise

Salary Information:

The pay range for this role in Canada is: $56,000-$70,500 CAD.

The listed salary reflects the pay range for a role based in Canada. Compensation may differ based on alternate locations if listed. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, knowledge, and role-specific qualifications, and may be adjusted to recognize candidates accordingly.
