Job Overview:
The Inside Sales Specialist - Asia is a key role in the Ross Video Sales Team. You will play an active part in helping develop Ross Video’s pipeline for revenue generation through the support to the Regional Sales Managers in the field, creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing customers and business partners.

In this role, you will assist the Asia Sales Team and are a direct extension of our front-line group of regionally based Sales Professionals, helping to work opportunities with both end users and via our authorized business partner network.

The Inside Sales Representative exudes integrity, drive and passion and exceed business targets through excellent telephone sales and superb communications skills.

What the Job Is All About:

  • Support sales activities across assigned territories by preparing accurate and competitive quotations, clearly articulating product and service value, and guiding customers through the purchasing process.
  • Manage the full quote-to-order lifecycle, ensuring compliance with internal pricing policies, approvals, and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to execute opportunity-specific strategies aligned with the Ross Way To Sell (RWTS) methodology.
  • Maintain clean and accurate CRM records in Salesforce, including opportunity updates, pipeline management, and forecasting data.
  • Track and manage pipeline activity to ensure timely follow-up, order flow accuracy, and forecast reliability.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Finance, Commercial Operations, Order Management and Services teams to ensure smooth order processing and issue resolution.
  • Support Regional Sales Manager with sales reviews, forecasting, and data analysis by providing insights that aid decision-making, while leveraging Commercial Ops Specialists for report creation when needed.
  • Handle inbound prospect calls, identify key decision makers, and initiate the sales process to convert leads into qualified opportunities.
  • Identify cross-sell, upsell, and account expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to keep abreast of technological developments.
  • Provide support for trade shows, customer events, and occasional travel as required to align with RSMs and key accounts.

Who You Are:
Knowledge / Experience:

  • Practical experience in inside sales, sales operations, or commercial support roles.
  • Strong understanding of opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and CRM best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of quote-to-order processes and internal sales workflows.
  • Experience working in a structured, multi-step approval environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience selling broadcast or technical equipment is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with broadcast or video production technology is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective objection handling and problem-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a B2B sales or inside sales environment preferred.
  • Proven ability to support deal execution and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Experience in sales forecasting and pipeline analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
