Position Overview
Ross Video powers video production for billions of global viewers daily with the industry’s widest range of smart production solutions. We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Human Resources team as a Senior Compensation & Rewards Partner.
This position is a 16-month term employment contract.
The Compensation & Rewards Partner will be responsible for providing support on a broad range of compensation plans including base pay, bonus plans, & sales incentive. They will monitor and review external trends, practices, and innovations to ensure Ross Video remains competitive for all countries in which we have teams. This requires proven expertise in the areas of compensation design, administration and communication, in alignment with corporate global strategies.
Ross Video enjoys a hybrid work environment. This position can be done working from home most of the time, with occasional on-site presence in our Ottawa office required.

What the job is all about:
Reporting to the Director, HR Programs, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage the coordination, maintenance, and execution of all aspects of the compensation process including job evaluation, benchmarking, data audits, and ad hoc compensation reviews - ensuring market competitiveness, compliance and equity.
- Support the continuing development of our global compensation & rewards programs and roadmap, working closely with relevant HR and business stakeholders to help deliver global compensation and reward initiatives.
- Coordinate all activities related to the annual compensation planning cycle from budget recommendations to approvals, communication, and processing.
- Coordinate and facilitate the participation in salary surveys and analyze survey data providing recommendations and identifying areas of risk or concern; determine optimal sources and frequency of survey data.
- Work collaboratively across all areas of HR in delivering compensation practices that support talent acquisition, talent development and IDEA programs.
- Participate in the ongoing review and communication of compensation and pay practices.
- Other duties as required.
Who you are:
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline, and/or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing compensation programs for global companies, including experience with sales incentives and executive compensation.
- Strong business acumen and highly analytical, with experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting on quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization, including Senior Management.
- Ability to deal with confidential information with a high degree of diplomacy; ability to build trusted relationships.
- Experience in change management methodologies; can adapt with agility to a rapidly growing and evolving environment and effectively lead others through change and transformation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong-working knowledge of MS-Office package, specifically Excel.
