Assembly Tester (Job Req: 2026-116) Contract

The role tests PCBs to verify that an assembled board powers on correctly and operates within expected electrical parameters. During this process testers check voltage levels, current draw, component functionality, and communication interfaces to ensure there are no shorts, defects, or power‑related failures.

What the job is all about:
- Test required assemblies using procedures and manufacturing work instructions.
- Connect electronic assemblies to test instruments for automatic computerized testing.
- Low-level debug may be required on failed assemblies which would involve visual inspection for possible faults.
- Maintain Test logs and Data defect collection
- Work closely with Test department when high-level failures are encountered.
- Maintain ESD practices.
- Follow and adhere to all PPE and H&S requirements.
Who you are:
- High School Diploma
- Organized and very detail orientated but also able to see the big picture
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Capable of following procedures and work logically
- Detail oriented, conscientious and willing to ask questions
- Strong aptitude for learning
- Strong computer skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing setting, with moderate noise
- Mechanical Aptitude
