Production Operations Manager

Join our Production Management team in a new role that will drive the production operations in our Manufacturing Facility.

As the Product Operations Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for technical, ERP and interdepartmental challenges. This role will ensure data integrity between ERP systems and manufacturing activities. You will be the SME for production related software systems and drive operational excellence by supporting continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshooting workflow discrepancies, and ensuring alignment between Production, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Operations Management.

What the job is all about:

  • Lead coordination and resolution of cross-functional issues that impact multiple production areas.
  • ​Act as the technical representative for Production in systems, process, and infrastructure projects that require collaboration across departments.
  • ​Monitor and report systemic production issues using CAMP; escalate trends and partner with stakeholders to drive long-term corrective action and process standardization.
  • ​Represent Production in plant-wide initiatives such as lot sizing, capacity planning, and time studies, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and grounded in shop floor realities.
  • ​​Help drive a culture of operational excellence, ensuring that systems, data, and workflows are aligned to support safety, efficiency, and scalability.
  • ​Champion quality standards & audit readiness requirements. Support initiatives to reduce non-conformances by improving execution discipline, process documentation, and system support.
  • ​Partner with Quality and ISO Audit stakeholders to close gaps, resolve findings, and implement sustainable improvements.
  • ​​​Act as the ERP escalation lead for production-impacting issues.
  • ​Serve as the ERP and MES systems SME for Production, translating shop floor requirements into actionable ERP workflows and configurations.
  • ​Identify opportunities to improve system usability and reduce transactional friction; advocate for standardized, scalable ERP practices in collaboration with Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, and Operations.
  • Ensure alignment between ERP data (LN) and actual shop floor activity. Coordinate disposition of held materials and ensure clean execution of transactional steps in ERP.
  • ​Manage and facilitate WIP/FIN (Immediate Cut-In ECOs) and Ship Hold processes, including rework coordination, order blocking/unblocking, and communication with affected departments.
  • Lead process for alternate component evaluation, ensuring structured risk assessment, documentation accuracy, and cross-functional engagement prior to ECO cut-in.

Who you are:

  • Experience with ERP functional design, workflow optimization, or system implementation. (Infor LN preferred)
  • Familiar with ISO standards, quality systems, and audit processes.
  • ​Understand continuous improvement methodologies.
  • ​Experience with manufacturing data analytics and KPI development.
  • ​Experience in a high-mix, low to mid-volume production environment.
  • Comfortable working in a production setting with moderate noise; occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required.
