Job Overview:
The Equipment Support Specialist, Demonstration and Tradeshows, is a key member of Ross Video’s Sales Operations team. This role is responsible for assembling, configuring, and testing equipment used for customer demonstrations, tradeshows, proof-of-concepts, and regional marketing events. Working closely with Sales and Marketing teams, the specialist ensures that Ross Video’s solutions are showcased effectively and professionally. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical aptitude, organizational excellence, and initiative—delivering high-quality support that enhances the customer experience.

What the job is all about:
- Build, configure, and test demonstration kits and tradeshow systems for use worldwide.
- Assemble and wire equipment according to engineering drawings and documentation.
- Maintain and update a library of current technical and sales information for Ross products.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair in-house and remote production systems.
- Complete detailed checklists and ensure all items are prepared for shipment.
- Coordinate schedules and logistics with the Director, Demonstration and Tradeshows.
- Set up and verify systems based on onsite requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Vertical teams to enhance demonstration content, workflows, and customer experience.
- Interpret and implement broadcast engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Fabricate and terminate custom cables (BNC, XLR, network, etc.).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Who you are:
- Electronics Technical Diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in broadcast, video, or related fields.
- Experience with IT networking and infrastructure is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with Ross Video products and production workflows preferred.
- Strong understanding of video production systems and broadcast workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive problem solver.
