What the job is all about:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle – requirements gathering, scoping, design, implementation, documentation, testing, and maintenance.
• Be a part of a larger team who work on Carbonite Code.
• Collaborate with the leadership, UX, Marketing, and Product Management to enable an excellent front-end user experience.
• Provide design and code reviews for fellow team members promoting high-quality work, sound software methodologies and attention to detail.

Who you are:

• Strong software development background with a solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and efficient data storage techniques.
• Proficient in TypeScript, with excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience developing applications using React.js, including a deep understanding of core concepts such as Redux-Saga, component lifecycle, and hooks.
• Experienced with CSS and modern web styling technologies, including CSS Grid, CSS Modules, and preprocessors like Sass; capable of building responsive, maintainable, and accessible user interfaces.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and real-time communication using WebSockets.
• Familiar with Protocol Buffers, WebPack, and TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Some experience with C++ is required; while deep expertise isn't necessary, familiarity is valuable for understanding or integrating with native components.
