Rohde & Schwarz is seeking a qualified Account Manager in Denver, Colorado. As one of our Test & Measurement Account Managers, you will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business and working closely with our existing customers utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. Product categories that enable our customers to succeed include spectrum/signal analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, and communication test systems. We are currently looking for an Account Manager to be based in Denver, CO providing sales support to both existing and new Aerospace & Defense customers as well as general-purpose Test and Measurement customers throughout Colorado.

The total compensation for this position is $110K-$230K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.

Your tasks
- Understand customer needs and identify how Rohde & Schwarz products can provide technical solutions
- Cultivate new customer relationships and develop into lasting partnerships
- Expand and grow existing customer relationships
- Grow market share and exceed quota
- Build and manage a strong sales funnel
- Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements
- BSEE (or equivalent technical education)
- 5+ years of technical sales experience
- A passion for helping people solve problems and an intense focus on customer service
- An understanding of current Aerospace & Defense electronics industry technologies (particularly RF/Wireless)
- Experience with large account management
- Self motivated to learn and understand internal and customer processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Embraces and thrives in an environment of change, especially with respect to new technology
- Ability to travel regularly within the sales territory in addition to some national and international travel
- In order to be considered, candidates must reside in the US and have US citizenship or permanent work authorization.
