Your tasks

• Define company-wide processes and methodologies for managing complex system projects as part of an Operating Model for project execution business model
• Lead the Project Management Stream delivery (10 -12 SME) in a project matrix approach
• Work Package Management (WPM) E2E baseline for a given phase and gate (scope/planning/dependencies/capacity planning) of the Project
• Workflow methodology (agile, waterfall, hybrid) and resource/capacity planning
• Work stream governance alignment and sync with Project Governance
• Readiness level and assurance of CDRLs & deliverables per phase/gate
• Stream drumbeat and visualization/Obeya Project
• WP dashboard/performance and project controls linked to the project goals/ on time delivery/KPI
• Plan, manage and coordinate all activities within the Stream and in a project matrix with the other streams
• Member of the PCT of the Project with key mandate in project stream delivery and support all the relevant Project Operational/Strategic/Change Management
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Experience as a Head of Project Management or within a Project Management Office in a global central function
• Extensive practical knowledge in all areas of the project lifecycle in technically complex industries such as aerospace, defense, or plant engineering
• Demonstrable knowledge in defining and implementing an Operating Model or Project Management Framework
• Experience in implementing transformation projects and knowledge of international PM standards and their application in technically complex industries
• Confident and clear communication skills when coordinating critical issues with various hierarchical levels
• Strong understanding of other people’s perspectives to develop mutually acceptable solutions
• Structured, systematic, and yet pragmatic approach to processing complex issues, as well as teamwork skills and high flexibility in dynamic work environments
• Fluent English and basic German language skills
