Information Technology : Senior Manual Testing Engineer

Your tasks

• Take responsibility over the quality of the product;
• Take ownership of day-to-day quality issues and escalation;
• Collaborate with R&D System Engineering and Support teams to find the best technical solution that suits the business needs;
• Develop and maintain an array of relevant user scenarios, test-cases, and checklists;
• Manually execute functional and non-functional tests, report and maintain defects. Implement automated test cases wherever this is suitable / efficient;
• Drive best practices for test automation, test execution and test management;
• Design, deploy and maintain the internal infrastructure needed for testing;
• Analyze real-world customers issues, identify their root cause and offer the best solution;
• Build and maintain the Testing Systems/Environments.

Your qualifications

• University degree in Electronics, Computer Science or similar education;
• 7+ years of experience in testing solutions and software products, including installing and configuring LINUX operating systems and applications, scripting and collecting system / application logs;
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes;
• Experience with versioning systems (eg Git, SVN);
• Experience in the use and administration of virtualization platforms (i.e. vmWare, OpenStack, oVirt, Proxmox);
• Experience using CI/CD tools (i.e. TeamCity, Jenkins, Gitlab);
• Basic programing skills – python (with Ansible is a plus);
• Management of tests and issues in Jira/TestLink, Bugzilla tools;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Proactive working style with the ability to adapt to change;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude;
• Good knowledge of networking concepts and debugging of network problems;
• Telecommunication knowledge and a good understanding of VOIP protocols;
• Very good English skills;
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple projects in accordance with R&D priorities;
• Very organized work environment and work activities;
• Open to grow and continue learning.
