Sales and Product Management : Account Manager - New York City
As one of our Test & Measurement Account Managers, you will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business and working closely with our existing customers utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. Product categories that enable our customers to succeed include spectrum/signal analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, and communication test systems. We are currently looking for an Account Manager to be based in Long Island or one of the five Boroughs of NYC providing sales support to both existing and new Test and Measurement customers throughout the territory.
Your tasks
- Understand customer needs and positioning Rohde & Schwarz to meet those needs
- Create new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships
- Grow the territory and exceed quota
- Build and manage a strong sales funnel for multiple customers
- Manage cross-site opportunities and projects while working closely with all internal stakeholders
- Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements

Your qualifications
- Physically reside in Long Island or one of the 5 Boroughs of NYC.
- BSEE (or equivalent technical education). Candidates without a technical background will not be considered.
- 5+ years of test equipment sales experience or technical sales experience
- A working understanding of current electronic industry technologies (particularly aerospace and defense technologies)
- Enthusiastic and responsive to customer requests and questions
- Skilled at working within a team environment with strong communication and collaborating skills to achieve growth objectives
- Able to travel throughout the territory with some national and international travel
- To be considered, candidates must have US citizenship or permanent work authorization.

We are looking forward to receiving your application!The total compensation for this position is $100K-$230K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
