We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with strong expertise in C++ programming and PostgreSQL database design and optimization. The ideal candidate will develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance applications and data solutions for mission-critical systems, while collaborating with vendors and ensuring rigorous deployment SOPs.

What you will be doing:
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern C++
• Implement efficient database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in PostgreSQL.
• Optimize application performance through profiling, memory management, and query tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with front-end applications.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with external vendors and service providers: manage technical integrations, clarify requirements, track deliverables, and coordinate issue resolution and SLAs.
• Manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for deployments: author and maintain runbooks, pre/post-deploy checklists, rollback plans, and CAB/change approvals.
• Conduct deployment readiness reviews and post-implementation reviews; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement of SOPs.

What you bring :
• 3+ years of professional experience in C++ development (C++11 or later).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, multithreading, and memory management.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization, PL/pgSQL).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools (CMake, Make).
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with vendors and managing technical SLAs.
• Demonstrated ability to author and maintain deployment SOPs/runbooks and execute change processes.

Nice to Have :
• Experience with performance tuning for large-scale systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to service delivery management or ITIL processes is a plus.
• Experience with deployment orchestration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and change governance (CAB).
