This role offers a unique chance to guide a product from its initial concept to high-volume production, working with a diverse, cross-functional team.

What You'll Do

As a Staff Product Engineer, you'll be the full-lifecycle owner of our products, ensuring the delivery of the highest quality goods to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Product Development & Testing:

    • Creating and executing test plans to guarantee compliance with datasheet specifications.

    • Defining and running qualification plans that meet JEDEC/AEC quality standards.

    • Performing reliability tests to assess and ensure product quality.

    • Working closely with design, test, applications, and failure analysis teams to debug new products and solve field failures.

    • Conducting characterization tests across different temperatures, voltages, and processes to set production limits.

  • Manufacturing & Production:

    • Owning and managing the product's Bill of Materials (BOM).

    • Monitoring production data and using statistical analysis to improve yield and quality.

    • Leading the product release into manufacturing, meeting strict Tier 1 customer requirements.

    • Optimizing production limits and disposition rules to maintain quality without creating excessive waste.

  • Customer & Supplier Support:

    • Providing real-time technical support for customer issues related to design, product, and quality.

    • Managing excursions and escalations with both suppliers and customers.

  • Reporting & Analysis:

    • Using yield management tools like PDF Exensio and JMP to monitor and improve yield.

    • Generating weekly reports and reviewing them with the product engineering team.

    • Tracking and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product velocity, cost, quality, and failure analysis cycle times.

Qualifications

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience & Education:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

    • 12+ years of experience in product engineering. A strong background in analog circuits is essential.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Familiarity with ATE tester platforms (e.g., Teradyne J750, Advantest 93K).

    • Deep knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuitry, device physics, test methodology, and Design for Testability (DFT).

    • Experience with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) and bench characterization.

    • Knowledge of JEDEC/AEC qualification standards and stress tests, with a preference for experience in developing qual hardware and software.

    • Proficiency in statistical analysis and yield management tools to make data-driven decisions.

    • Some familiarity with semiconductor failure analysis is a plus.

  • Personal Qualities:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
