Renesas is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engineering Technician 2 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting order boards in Oracle databases, maintaining inventory in MiSys, and ensuring efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
- Support the Order Board in the Oracle Database
- Daily review of the order board.
- Pulling completed boards from Oracle and transferring them to Finished Goods.
- Supporting engineers' needs for completed evaluation boards.
- Communicating with Marketing through email.
- Maintain Inventory in MiSys.
- Put residual kits back into stock.
- Order ICs from Renesas website.
- Enter data/kits into MiSys.
- Create new parts in MiSys.
- Purchase parts from distributors such as Mouser and Digi-Key.
- Enter purchase orders into PeopleSoft (for costs <$2500.00) and GPR (for costs >$2500.00).
- Redline Release of Eval Boards: Coordinate with AE to ensure responsible redline release of evaluation boards.
- Create Jobs for Re-builds of Eval Boards.
- Order PCBs.
- Start jobs in MiSys.
- Receive Completed Boards from Assembly Houses.
- Check board revision and bag-and-ship boards.
- Misys
- Intrepid
- Model N
- Orders in Oracle.
- Use Microsoft Word to make labels (bag & box) and ensure shipping pack lists are available.
- Ensure there is a standard cost in MiSys and Excel.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database, MiSys, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable with email communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with purchasing parts from distributors and entering purchase orders into multiple systems.
- Knowledge of PCB ordering and assembly processes is a plus.
