Company Description

A Senior Manager of Program Management is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale programs or projects within an organization. The role typically involves managing a team of program managers and coordinators, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program delivery.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement program strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of program activities, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Identify and engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate program updates, and manage expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of program managers and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact program delivery, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting and financial tracking for the program, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate program performance against predefined metrics and standards, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and executive leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance program delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate program status, milestones, and achievements.

Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in program management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex programs on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
  • Overall, a Senior Manager of Program Management plays a critical role in driving the success of strategic initiatives within an organization, requiring a combination of strategic thinking, leadership, and project management expertise.

Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $155,000K - $194,500K. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities and commission pay. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
