Your main responsibility will be to test and qualify Desktop Applications, Web Applications, Firmware for customer releases. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in evaluating BMS solutions for customer. You will be a key driver in ensuring success for customers, application engineers and the development team for our consumer, Industrial, Automotive BMS solutions.

Job Description
- Test planning, test automation, test execution, failure analysis of various modules
- Build and enhance an advanced automated test framework and suites.
- Maintain and extend existing software tools, test environments and test benches
- Work within a team of engineers to drive improvements in overall quality, testing processes and practices, and automation
- Write detailed test plans based on product/customer requirements (MRS/PRD and Use cases).
- Improve test strategies, using modern testing frameworks, automation tools, and industry best practices. Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Perform all aspects of verification, including functional, structural, regression, load, and system testing.
- Help with executing test plans and share team status with stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship and supervision for junior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree or greater in Electrical/Computer engineering or Computer science.
- 3-6 years of experience in test engineering.
- Sound knowledge of Software QA principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience in coming up with test plan, Test scenarios, Test Execution for any given requirement/epic
- Strong programming skills in writing and debugging test programs. Competency in programming with scripting languages such as Perl/Python and high-level languages such as C/C++ and Java
- Demonstrated proficiency in test development, test automation and performance testing
- Experience working in a Continuous Integration and Delivery environment; experience working in cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience in SQL
- Experience with common lab test equipment (DC power supply, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, etc). Bench characterization experience is a plus
- Manual Testing: Strong experience in working independently and involved in all stages of SDLC process
- Automation Testing: Able to create a new project and write automation tests using test frameworks.
- Expertise in working with modern Relational Databases (SQL, RDBMS technologies).
- Experience with API, Websockets, Selenium, DB testing, JMeter, Git and JIRA knowledge
- Good knowledge of modern Web technologies: HTML, CSS, JS (JS frameworks like React, Angular, Svelte and Vue.js are a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A good team player. Effective in fast-paced, dynamic work environment
