Job Description

Renesas Electronics America (REA) is seeking an exceptional HR professional to join our Regional HR team responsible for supporting business leaders and employees across the US. In this role you will enable business success and help to develop a world-class employee experience.

This position offers the opportunity for remote, or hybrid options depending on location.

Qualifications

Understand the business unit specific priorities, challenges, and goals across the US. Coordinate and align with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence (COE) teams on those priorities and solutions.

  • Partner with employees, business leaders, COE’s and HR Business Partners to provide high quality, commercial advisory support on a broad range of employment topics.
  • Advise and guide business leaders, HR Business Partners and CoE’s on market requirements in relation to matters involving individual employees and teams (e.g. performance management, restructuring, changes to terms and conditions etc.)
  • Create training materials and facilitate manager training sessions on HR topics
  • Provide input to talent / retention / succession planning discussions to provide a local perspective.

Strong business acumen. Familiarity with HR Systems; experience with Success Factors and/or Smart Recruiters is a plus. Experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams), prefer strong Excel skills.

Skills Needed To Be Successful

5 years of related HR experience, with a related Bachelor’s degree preferred. Self-motivated and able to take initiative. Ability to build strong, credible relationships quickly. Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills Strong persuasion and influencing skills. Results driven and delivery focused, with a high level of integrity. Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Organized and able to multitask with deep attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Ability to collaborate with peers, other HR partners, and business leaders. Solid problem-solving skills. Strong project management skills.

Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $76,000 - $115,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
