Overall Requirements:

Our Operations Department is looking for a motivated individual to join the team as a Water Spider, for a 3 month contract. This role specializes in keeping production lines running by delivering materials, tools, and components just-in-time. The incumbent will act as a crucial support link by preventing worker downtime, removing waste, managing inventory, and replenishing

Responsibilities:

• Material Replenishment: Constantly delivering raw materials and parts to workstations
• Workflow Maintenance: Replacing tools, removing empty boxes/waste, and moving materials to minimize bottlenecks
• Kanban/Process Support: Moving Kanban cards, updating status boards, and following, or improving, standard processes
• Support Roles: Assisting with product changeovers and helping less experienced personnel

Education & Experience:

• Previous experience considered an asset

Additional Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Read, understand, and carry out written instructions
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive transactions with a high level of accuracy
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong time-management skills to ensure efficiency is maintained throughout the floor
• The role is highly active, often requiring walking, lifting, and carrying items for long periods, which can be physically demanding
• Health and safety conscious
