Overall Requirements:
Our Business Development department is looking for a strategic high-level individual responsible for leading complex customer engagements, advising internal leadership, and driving long-term revenue growth. Acting as a trusted technical and business advisor, the STCA designs lifecycle strategies, develops revenue opportunities, negotiates major agreements, and guides clients through high-impact decisions involving network infrastructure, support models, and modernization.
This role requires deep technical understanding, business acumen, and independent judgment to influence executive decisions—both internally and with customers. The STCA represents Renaissance in high-value discussions, leads strategic planning efforts, and ensures continued customer success through ongoing advisory support.
Responsibilities:
Strategic & Internal Advisory
- Advise leadership on market trends, customer strategies, pricing models, and solution development.
- Participate in revenue planning, strategic forecasting, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Influence internal decision-making related to product offerings, capacity, and investment priorities.
- Provide strategic recommendations to optimize growth, and customer value.
Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Identify, develop, and secure new revenue opportunities across targeted customer segments.
- Build long-term partnerships with key accounts, technical stakeholders, and executive decision-makers.
- Expand existing relationships through value-added programs, lifecycle services, and modernization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that drive profitability and client success.
Contract Negotiation & Company Representation
- Lead negotiations for major agreements, revenue models, and strategic partnerships.
- Represent Renaissance in high-level discussions with to reach significant business decisions.
- Coordinate with leadership, finance, and legal to structure revenue-generating programs.
- Protect margin, ensure compliance, and support scalability of service delivery.
Technical Advisory & Solution Design
- Serve as a technical and business advisor to customers—aligning business needs with lifecycle strategies.
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to design support models, repair programs, and sustainability solutions.
- Guide customers on end-of-life support, asset extension, hardware optimization, and risk mitigation.
- Translate complex technical requirements into actionable, revenue-driving solutions.
High-Level Decision-Making
- Exercise discretion in pricing, program structure, and resource allocation.
- Recommend purchasing and inventory decisions to support customer programs.
- Influence internal strategy based on customer insight and market analysis.
Market Research & Business Analysis
- Research emerging technologies, market trends, and new revenue channels.
- Analyze customer performance, data insights, and program results to improve outcomes.
- Monitor competitive activity and recommend differentiation strategies.
Client Success & Ongoing Advisory
- Lead customer success initiatives and support customer business reviews.
- Provide post-engagement advisory to ensure adoption, performance, and expansion.
- Anticipate customer needs and deliver proactive recommendations.
- Drive renewals, program growth, and long-term revenue continuity.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in telecommunications, technology, network services, or lifecycle solutions.
- Proven expertise in revenue development, strategic partnerships, or client advisory roles.
- Experience negotiating complex contracts or high-value programs.
- Strong understanding of hardware lifecycle, aftermarket services, or network infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executives and collaborate across functions.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field required.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
