Requirements:

We are searching for an experienced IT Specialist to help Renaissance drive and evolve our IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily maintenance and updates/upgrades of a variety of company assets and the infrastructure supporting them. The candidate will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, so a friendly and approachable demeanor is required. This position will require a minimum of 4 days a week in office.

Responsibilities:

System Administration (Approx. 30%)

• Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory and user/group policies
• Administer and troubleshoot site-to-site VPNs, including IKEv2/IPSec configurations
• Manage and monitor virtual machines and cloud-based infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST)
• Administer and secure SharePoint environments
• Configure and monitor security tools like CrowdStrike Falcon and Defendify
• Perform regular audits, system updates, and backup procedures

Software Development (Approx. 70%)

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C, C#, or Java
• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases for data storage and optimization
• Build and maintain web applications using JavaScript, React, Redux, and REST APIs
• Utilize Visual Studio Code (or similar IDEs) for software development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Scrum/Agile principles
• Leverage NiFi for dataflow and integration (a strong asset)

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years relevant work experience within the telecom industry preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft AD, VPNs (including IKEv2/IPSec), and virtualized/cloud infrastructure
• Experience with endpoint security and cybersecurity frameworks (CrowdStrike, Defendify, NIST)
• Solid understanding of web technologies and full-stack development
• Experience with SQL-based databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with version control systems
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities across domains
• Certifications in Microsoft, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), or security frameworks
• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Software Engineering, or a related field.
