About the role
The Connected Planner is a critical supply chain professional responsible for ensuring efficient and effective planning processes. S/He bridges the gap between demand and supply, optimizing inventory, service levels, and cost management, serving as the representative of the Category/Region. As the face of the Connected Planning Team, S/He collaborates across functions, regions, and layers.
Your responsibilities
The main purpose of the Connected Planner is to enable sustainable best-in-class service levels, cost management, and optimal inventory through efficient tools, transparent communication, and cross-functional alignment. The Connected Planner holds several critical accountabilities within the supply chain domain. The role encompasses full ownership of supply plans for a specific category/region, spanning both internal and external manufacturing. S/He collaborates globally with Site Planning Leads to ensure seamless supply continuity and maximize service levels to the market. Additionally, the Connected Planner chairs supply review meetings specific to their category/region, proactively manages service levels, and takes decisive actions regarding distressed SKUs to prevent stockouts. Producing stock tunnel reports for markets and sites, setting and executing inventory targets, and conducting scenario planning for supply-demand balance are also part of their responsibilities. Their ability to negotiate targets, track key performance indicators, and foster collaborative relationships across teams and functions contributes significantly to the organization’s success.

The experience we're looking for
Functional:
Supply systems/tools knowledge
Demand/supply planning expertise – 2-5 years of experience in supply planning in FMCG business
Capacity planning or Forecasting understanding
Governance and stakeholder management
Technical:
SAP, Kinaxis RR and JDE ERP systems familiarity
Analytical abilities for complex data
Presentation and reporting proficiency
