About the role

The IT Business Analyst (BA) for Talent Acquisition & Onboarding plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role focuses on understanding the strategic goals and operational challenges of the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding functions, translating them into actionable product requirements, and ensuring successful delivery and adoption of digital solutions.The IT Business Analyst (BA) for Talent Acquisition & Onboarding plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role focuses on understanding the strategic goals and operational challenges of the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding functions, translating them into actionable product requirements, and ensuring successful delivery and adoption of digital solutions.

Your responsibilities

Business Engagement & Analysis
• Develop a deep understanding of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding processes, challenges, and opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and use cases.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and design sessions to gather insights and define business scenarios.

Product Strategy & Delivery
• Support the Product Owner in shaping and executing the product strategy through iterative enhancements.
• Translate business needs into detailed product requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with the Product Team to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented effectively.

Testing & Validation
• Define acceptance criteria and test cases to validate product increments.
• Participate in solutioning sessions and MVP evaluations to ensure alignment with business expectations.
Change Management & Adoption
• Deliver training and onboarding materials to end users and support teams.
• Champion product adoption by communicating value and benefits to stakeholders.
• Monitor feedback and usage to inform future improvements.

The experience we're looking for

Functional:
•Strong business domain knowledge and business acumen, familiar with IT standards and controls
•Abreast of latest technology trends and the opportunities / risks they present to the business domain
•Experience in analysing and breaking down problems and information using structured frameworks and methodologies

Technical:
•Basic knowledge of software engineering, information risk, security guidelines, and architecture standards
•Strong understanding of requirements elicitation and management techniques
•Competent user of requirements management tools
