About the role
You will lead financial planning and analysis with a strong focus on sales controlling. You will be responsible for ensuring the financial health and strategic alignment of our business operations, partnering closely with sales teams to drive profitable growth.
Additionally, you will lead a team of four business controllers, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality financial insights and guidance.
Your responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales teams to optimize resource allocation, ensuring investment decisions align with business goals.
- Analyze promotional spending, market investments, and pricing strategies to assess ROI and profitability.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to provide actionable insights that drive revenue growth and margin improvement.
- Support sales teams with forecasts, budgets, and monthly performance analyses to maintain alignment with financial targets.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of two business controllers, ensuring high performance, engagement, and professional growth.
- Oversee workload distribution and provide mentorship, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
- Establish best practices in financial analysis and reporting, ensuring continuous improvement in processes and tools.
- Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams, including supply chain, operations, to align financial objectives with overall business strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, providing financial insights to support critical business decisions.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements in financial reporting and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and internal controls to maintain financial integrity.
The experience we're looking for
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance business controlling areas
- Educated to minimum bachelor degree level ideally in business/management or economic science with specific knowledge or specialization in finance
- English and portuguese proficiency
- Leadership, people management, financial acumen, analytical skills, proactivity to solve problems
