About the role
Role Purpose:
- To ensure efficient production schedule and enable OEE improvement.
- To achieve service level target
- To assure reasonable level of stock and minimal amount of SLOB inventory.
- To continuously improve supply chain efficiency and drive supply chain resilience
Scope:
- Taicang Site
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for Rough Cut Capacity Planning exercise and provide proposal for capacity expansion plan
- Support site master plan.
- Lead & develop team to deliver business target, establish people backup plan and succession plan.
- Continuously drive team to achieve better performance and provide convincing PDR evaluation each year.
- Responsible for ensuring team’s consistent good performance and result in MPS/MRP/Production scheduling.
- Actively engage with material suppliers to deliver required materials on time even under challenging circumstances.
- Responsible for PO management, make sure only necessary material & quantity is ordered and aligned with market demand.
- Responsible for assuring material delivery.
- Track key suppliers’ performance and provide justifiable evaluation and rating.
- Monitoring RM/PM/FG stock level to ensure no OOS & no overstock & minimum SLOB, and ensure overall material & WIP stock level per business target
- Responsible for accuracy and timely update of master data in SAP relevant to Planning
- Follow up NPD/EPD projects progress to ensure delivered as per schedule
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to address supply issue and arrive at effective solution.
- Support other tasks assigned by line manager
- Attend markets’ S&OP meeting and global service call
The experience we're looking for
Skills & Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 5+ years Manufacturing Planning background with minimum 2+ years as team manager
- Experience in FMCG is preferred
- Experience in NPD/Procurement/Production is a plus
Professional qualifications required:
- Strong communication skills in terms of persuasion and negotiation
- Solid experience in SAP
- Excellent English overall skills
- Strategic and critical thinking
- Efficient and effective in time management
- Good understanding of Finance, Quality and Production
- Service oriented & result oriented mindset
- Disciplinary and ready to lead by example
