About the role
The System Capabilities Manager is responsible for providing governance and strategic support for system enhancements to key ERP/WMS/TMS systems used within the Logistics network.
Role can be located near any of our facilities in Mount Vernon, Zeeland, Las Vegas, Myerstown Harrisburg, St. Peters, Atlanta,
Your responsibilities
Strategic System Governance & Design
Provide strategic input and feasibility assessments for system capabilities to support desired business outcomes.
Make end-to-end design recommendations for cross-functional teams including Quality, Planning, Warehouse, Transportation, and Customer Service
Participate in cross-functional project calls to evaluate system readiness and provide feedback on proposed solutions
Focus on long-term strategic decision-making with a holistic view of the order-to-cash process to ensure scalable, sustainable system design
Oversee the accuracy and integrity of system records, ensuring data consistency across platforms and operational teams
Conduct and enforce regular system period reviews to maintain compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
Enhancement and Innovation
Support and optimize Warehouse Labor Management (LMS) tools to improve workforce planning and productivity.
Oversee and support execution bolt-on systems that enhance operational efficiency and integration with core platforms, including Kaleidoscope (Data Lake UI Tool)
Identify, evaluate, and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance logistics operations and system capabilities
Release Management
Define a release strategy for system enhancements and maintain a release calendar for various workstreams
Coordinate with stakeholders to integrate release plan with minimal disruption to the business
Provide continuous updates to management and Logistics teams for releases planned within each period
Work with other external partners to effectively coordinate releases when relevant
Develop and maintain a standardized rollout model for all change requests (CRs), ensuring consistent execution and adoption across the organization
The experience we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or other related fields required
Operations and WMS/ERP experience is highly desirable
Must have excellent written and verbal skills
Must have ability to compile and analyze data along with a solid understanding of general accounting principles
Must have excellent follow through and can-do attitude
Must have good problem solving skills and attention to detail
Must be self-driven and proactive
Proven ability to work independently and deal with all organization levels.
The ability to organize and analyze cost/spend data and develop executive summaries and recommendations.
Must have strong MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Ability to travel (15-20%)
