About the role
We're in search of a proactive Quality Manager to join the Reckitt team, where innovation and science converge to make a real-world impact. You'll contribute to the growth of our trusted product portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of quality. Your expertise will drive activities from concept to execution, fostering an environment of continuous improvement. This is a 9 month fixed term contract.
Your responsibilities
- Responsible to support the Country Managers and their management teams to enable them to develop the local Quality Management.
- Maintain the QMS to ensure fully compliant processes and products.
- Work with local functions to develop and maintain all relevant procedures in line with the requirements of the Global & associated policies, relevant codes of practice and GMP/GDP and local requirements.
- Ensure that QMS is maintained in a state of inspection readiness.
- Ensure processes are in place to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the local QMS.
- Ensure that improvements to products and procedures can be identified and fixed.
- For imported product ensure Quality Agreement/ Technical Manuals
- Conduct regular risk assessment of the EMO and suppliers of PM/RM
- Work closely with Procurement, Operations, and other QA personnel to resolve quality issues with suppliers and contractors that may affect consumer safety, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and operational performance.
- Complete the required reports related to the external manufacturers and suppliers. Monitor the KPIs to analyse performance.
- Regulatory compliance of RB maintained with regards to suppliers and contractors.
- Resolution of quality issues that may affect consumer safety, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and operational performance.
- Performance of health checks of internal systems and reporting of KPI, project status and other reporting where necessary
The experience we're looking for
- Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, BPharm, Quality Management or other related field.
- Familiarity with R & D processes and working within a GMP environment.
- Strong project management experiences with demonstrable problem-solving skills.
- Independent and self-starting with the resilience needed to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Quality Assurance experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies, tactics and improvement plans
- Ability to develop close partnerships with R&D, Procurement and Supply while maintaining strong sense of independence and confidence to always express own opinion.
- Experienced in risk management and process improvement techniques including FMEA, root cause analysis, process mapping etc.
- Strong auditing skills with extensive experience in conducting site audits and systems audits. Lead auditor qualification in ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 preferred.
- Good communication skills and able to debate and negotiate with external supplier personnel.
- Able to lead on improvement plans with key suppliers, requires a good manufacturing knowledge and an understanding of business processes.
