About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Analyst to join our finance team. In this position you will support the invoice and payment processing for our North America Commercial and Canadian entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments, maintain strong vendors relationships, as well as working closely with internal partners to support them in the Procure to Pay process.

This role is critical in supporting our Accounts Payable operations, as well as supporting our overall Commercial and Canadian teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Excel, experience with SAP, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both offshore teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate with the offshore AP team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Provide support to vendors, including answering inquiries regarding payment status, invoice issues, and resolution timelines.
• Act as a point of contact for internal partners (procurement, finance, operations) regarding invoice processing and payment updates.
• Conduct variance analysis and other financial analyses related to AP trends, accruals, and account movements.
• Utilize SAP for invoice entry, reporting, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations related to accounts payable and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and models to support AP analysis and reconciliation.
• Identify and support the implementation of process improvements to enhance AP efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, audit requests, and compliance with internal controls.

The experience we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable or related finance role.
• Proficient in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis, conditional formulas).
• Hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA or ECC preferred).

• Familiarity with AP automation tools or ERP system integrations.
• Prior experience in a large, complex organizational setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working with offshore teams or in a shared services environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

US salary ranges

USD $78,000.00 - $116,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
