About the role
ServiceNow is a growing platform within Reckitt used by multiple business lines. As part of the high performance ServiceNow platform team of Reckitt, the role of the Platform Engineer is to ensure we are deriving the full value of the ServiceNow platform & the Reckitt entitlements while achieving the overall Reckitt goals & objectives.
Your responsibilities
- Participate in managing the overall ServiceNow platform tooling (including ITSM, Platform Components, Integrations, ITOM) and operational capability in conjunction with all the relevant processes, controls including ITIL, GxP, EPM, GDPR etc.
- Technical leadership of the ServiceNow platform within Reckitt - including the associated automations & integrations to ensure the tools remain fit for use.
- As a core member of the Reckitt platform team, contribute to the Reckitt platform strategy to ensure Reckitt fully leverages the features per its entitlements.
- Responsible for working with Reckitt ServiceNow platform team, Reckitt ITSM Global Process owners, & other product & platform owners to enable the platform roadmap.
- Review existing set up and provide best practice recommendations in line with the OEM and ensure the implementation stays close to Out of Box
- Be a thought leader & drive independently some of the strategic platform areas – Eg: platform health, compliance of ServiceNow systems, integrations, Common Services Data Model (CSDM), CMDB, data, access and tooling policies etc.
The experience we're looking for
• 6+ years of overall experience with technical expertise on ServiceNow (Washington DC / Xanadu) – deep functional & technical expertise on ServiceNow platform, data model, ServiceNow app development, scripting & integrations
• ServiceNow Experience should be 5+ years - should have experience in Technical Architecture, design & Solutions on ServiceNow, including Service Portal & mobile app (Employee and Agent)
• Must have hands-on ServiceNow scripting experience.
• Must have advanced knowledge and experience on ServiceNow Modules like Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Knowledge, Integrations, Platform components, Performance Analytics etc.
• Design/Architect ITSM, ServiceNow Platform solutions, CMDB and Integrations.
• Cross experience on additional product lines (ITOM, ITAM, SPM etc.) will be an advantage.
• Experience in setup and integration of ServiceNow with third party applications will be a plus.
• Excellent understanding of ITIL Processes. ITIL4 – practical knowledge is an added advantage.
