About the role
Step into a key leadership position as Senior Finance Manager – RTR Controller. In this pivotal function you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, compliance, and process efficiencies within the captive finance function. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and optimising the captive’s financial performance. The RTR Controller works closely with key stakeholders to drive operational excellence, risk management, and strategic financial planning.

Your responsibilities
- Oversee month-end close (MEC) activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Review and approve postings, PO postings, and non-product spend (NPS) recharges.
- Supervise journal processing, ensuring proper support and compliance.
- Manage inventory reconciliations (MEC Inventory Rec) and slow-moving/obsolete (SLOB) stock management.
- Oversee revenue and trade spend accounting.
- Prepare and review month-end flash reports, including volume and sales analysis.
- Lead balance sheet reconciliations (BS Recs) and ensure proper documentation in Blackline.
- Review standard cost of goods sold (COGS) reconciliations to procurement inputs.
- Oversee stock provision calculations, write-off reviews, and approvals.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and compliance standards.
- Review and approve all commercial team month-end journals in Blackline.
- Conduct final reviews of BS reconciliations in Blackline and escalate issues as needed.
The experience we're looking for
- Fluency in English.

- Strong understanding of how to foster relationships with senior management on a global scale.
- Expertise in change management, project management, and driving operational improvements.
- Strong exposure to developing process frameworks, governance and KPIs.
- Ability to lead audits, compliance reviews, and financial governance.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and statutory reporting.
- Proficient in financial close, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Expertise in revenue, trade spend, inventory, and fixed asset accounting.
- Experience with CapEx appraisal, AUC, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Blackline.
