About the role

As the IT&D Manager dedicated to E-Commerce, you will manage the development and implementation of IT solutions that support the company's e-commerce initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a new function from the ground up, driving innovation and scalability to support Essential Home’s business strategy.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, pragmatic and loves a challenge. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are action and result oriented. You will oversee implementation, and optimization of e-commerce platforms to enhance the online customer experience and drive business growth.

Your responsibilities

Lead projects focused on implementing and optimizing e-commerce platforms and related technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce solutions.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in e-commerce technologies.

Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer needs and business goals.

Monitor platform performance and implement improvements to enhance user experience and satisfaction.

Provide training and support to e-commerce teams to maximize the effectiveness of e-commerce tools.

Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all e-commerce projects.

Advocate for the adoption of innovative e-commerce technologies within the organization.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Proven experience in the e-commerce space.

Strong understanding of e-commerce processes and technologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and related tools.

A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for e-commerce technologies.
