About the role

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between technology and tangible business outcomes? Reckitt seeks a collaborative and forward-thinking IT & D Platform Manager to champion our digital platforms and the teams that make innovation possible. This is a critical and valued role in our IT & Digital team, providing strategic and technical leadership to enhance our platforms' scalability, security, and efficiency. Your vision will directly influence how our platform evolves, supporting Reckitt's continuous drive for a cleaner, healthier world.

Your responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of Azure infrastructure components, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools for efficient and automated deployment processes.
• Knowledge of various services from MS Azure portfolio (IaaS, PaaS, serverless computing etc.)

Platform Optimization:

• Implement and optimize platform engineering processes to enhance scalability, reliability and cost efficiency on Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Cyber Security, application teams etc.) to troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues.
• Deep understanding and experience of scripting and automating standard tasks and deployments (usage of PowerShell, Ansible, bash)

Security and Compliance:

• Work closely with the security team to implement and enforce security measures in Azure environments.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies related to Azure platform services. Apply security best practices including identity management, RBAC and others.

The experience we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in a platform or cloud engineer role overseeing Azure-based solutions, including platform engineering on MS Azure cloud platform.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services and infrastructure components.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, ARM) and Azure security best practices.
• Familiarity of Agile methodology, ability to work in SCRUM team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
